Quid quid agis, prudenter agas et respice finem - Whatever you do, do it wisely and look to the end.” These words were left to me by my beloved grandfather, Jakub Mackiewicz. They also became paintings commemorating my pain, sorrow, serving as a medium to rid myself of difficult emotions. They do not express acceptance but rather record my feelings associated with his departure and contemplation on life and death.
Diabetes
An artistic expression of emotional and physiological phenomena occurring during fluctuations in blood glucose levels. There are three terms distinguishing the sugar levels in the body: hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, and norm. All these states differ from one another and interact in different ways, inspiring me to create abstractions, thus self-therapy, which can be seen from a broader perspective.

I'm inspired by the unparalleled beauty of nature in the micro and macro spheres. It evokes my admiration and frequent contemplation. Life is an abstraction in itself. Our dogmas, commandments, rules, and unfortunate norms are mere illusions, fantasies, and theories made by people for people. Nature is genuine and above all, honest. I don't create figurative forms because organicity is the most beautiful to me. I consider a circular canvas the most convenient geometric figure, symbolizing entirety, cyclic unity, and completeness.
